Harris Lowe Academy Willesden is celebrating its first year of GCSE results, with our Year 11 cohort achieving truly fantastic results.
Outcomes have surpassed 2023 results, and once again improved upon our pre-pandemic cohorts since 2019. Find out more.
As well as an increase in the average grade, there has been a notable increase of students achieving the core basics of GCSE English and Maths, with 44% now achieving at least a good pass (grade 5) in both, and 61% achieving grade 4 or better in both.

Provisional results for 2023-24:
- Our estimated Progress 8 score is +0.36
- Our average Attainment 8 score is 45.9
- 44% of students achieved Grade 5 or above in English and Maths
- 61% of students achieved Grade 4 or above in English and Maths
- 59% of students entered the EBacc (national average 39%)
- 35% of students gained the EBacc at 4+ (national average 24%)
- 26% of students gained the EBacc at 4+ (national average 17%)
- The average EBacc points score was 4.39 (national average 4.05)

Sixth Form results
Our A Level students have also performed exceptionally well in the exam results announced in August 2024, achieving a B grade on average across all subjects. Our students have once again improved on the results of previous cohorts and surpassed 2023 outcomes nationally and within our highly competitive borough of Brent.
- Our average Grade in A Level subjects was a B
- Our average Grade in applied general subjects was a Distinction+
